Jo Smith
Jo is a member of the senior manager team of Cityventure and an Executive Director of the company. She has extensive experience in public sector programme and project management. She joined Cityventure in 1997 and is currently one of three senior managers responsible for the coordination and delivery of a number of publicly funded regeneration programmes to the value of over £25m, involving over eighty, separate projects. Jo has a great deal of development experience, particularly in community and learning based regeneration activities. She is also currently responsible for the management of two consultancy-based contracts, providing external monitoring and management services for a New Deal for Communities scheme and a Local Strategic Partnership. Prior to working for Cityventure, Jo worked as an Internal Auditor with the Audit Consortium. In this role she provided a range of Internal Audit services for a number of public sector organisations, including Health Authorities, Health Trusts, Universities and F.E. Colleges.
