Yorkshire Forward - Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) Funding -
Fund value £80M:

The Cityventure partnership was successful in procuring £80M of (Single Regeneration Budget) SRB funding, in 5 separate bidding rounds to central government between 1995 and 2000. This has involved the development, implementation and monitoring of more than 200 SRB funded projects covering a broad range of regeneration activity. Cityventure continues to programme manage the SRB6 scheme, which runs until 2007.

Regional Development Agency ( Yorkshire Forward) Single Programme Contracts -
Fund value £6m:

Cityventure is currently fully responsible for the delivery of £6m Single Programme activities. There are four separate contracts, which cover a number of projects ranging from revenue funding for training and employment initiatives to capital assistance for community-based leisure and learning facilities.

Heritage Lottery Fund - Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) -
Fund value £2M:

Cityventure, in partnership with Hull City Council was successful in securing £2m from the Heritage Lottery Fund and SRB funds to provide grants to building and site owners in part of the Old Town Conservation Area. Delivering the THI involves engaging with building and site owners and other partners, to progress development proposals, managing spend and delivery to fit funders' requirements, and ensuring that work undertaken meets funders' benchmarks, both in terms of conservation standards and audit requirements.

Neighbourhood Renewal – Small Grants -
Fund Value £350,000:

Cityventure is delivering this scheme in Hull in partnership with Hull Council for Voluntary Service and Hull Community Network. A community-led panel has been established to appraise applications and promote the scheme through their networks, and this model has been recognised nationally as an example of good practice. Cityventure is also responsible for mentoring projects and monitoring their impact following approval, and establishing priority targets for further outreach and development.

Global Grants -
Fund value £850,000:

This initiative matches European Social Funds (ESF) with funding from the Learning and Skills Council to provide small grants 'matched at source' targeted at reducing barriers to employment. This initiative is administered by Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, and Cityventure is subcontracted to deliver the scheme in Hull. The work involves promoting the fund through community networks, the appraisal of applications through a community panel, and mentoring and monitoring of groups in receipt of funding following their approval.

Big Lottery Fund - Fair Share Initiative -
Fund value £818,000:

Cityventure has been selected as the local delivery agent by the Community Foundation Network to deliver this initiative in Hull. This work involved the compilation of a 'Neighbourhood Assessment', and the establishment of a Local Panel for the chosen target area ( Orchard Park). Cityventure then facilitated the establishment of a baseline and priority interventions, and assisted the Local Panel in commissioning and direct approaches to appropriate organisations to attract applications which met the identified priorities. Cityventure also played a central role in the development of funding appraisals, and monitoring of individual activities and the overall scheme against Big Lottery performance indicators.

Learning and Skills Council - Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities
and ESF Co-financing -

Fund value £1.5m:

Cityventure has been successful in securing the contract to manage the delivery of the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) programme in the Humber Sub-Region. This work included the establishment and facilitation of a voluntary and community based partnership (the NLDC Advisory and approvals Group), delivery and action plan compilation and project commissioning and development. Cityventure is also monitoring projects funded by NLDC funds against the Learning and Skills Council's performance indicators, and is responsible for commissioning and supervising an external evaluation of the overall programme.
